That year he joined the Stratford Community Concert Band, ironically directed by his high school band teacher.  He has participated in Trumpet Workshops at Eastman, Oberlin and the University of Kentucky.

In 2012, Tom joined the Westport Community Band as a first trumpet and in 2014 he joined the CT Symphonic Winds. Tom has played principal trumpet with the Winds and has performed as a soloist with the other groups. He is currently lead trumpet of the  Generations Brass Quintet and also soloist at the Grace Methodist Church in Fairfield, CT.
