Nitiphum Bamrungbanthum

Session:

 Nitiphum was named principal trumpet with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017. Nitiphum is a Yamaha Artist Thailand and has appeared regularly as a soloist and orchestral and chamber performer throughout Thailand. Previously he served as Co-Principal of the Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra, Mahidol Wind Orchestra, Salaya Symphonic Winds, Million Wind Philharmonic, Guest musician of Singapore Symphony Orchestra and guests principal trumpet at Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra, Sun Symphony Orchestra, Metropolitan Festival Orchestra. He performed as a soloist with Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra on James M. Stephenson Trumpet Concerto No. 1, Thailand premiered in 2019 and Haydn Trumpet Concerto in 2020. 

Nitiphum was a finalist and got 3rd prize of Orchestra Excerpts Competition in International Trumpet Guild 2019 (ITG). A founding member of the Zero Brass Quintet, the group was awarded the 2nd Prize (no first prize awarded) in the 18th Osaka International Music Competition Mixed Chamber Music Division. The group also hosts several other local Thailand brass chamber music competitions.
