Marc Geujon is Principal trumpet of the Opéra National de Paris orchestra and professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. 

Graduated from the conservatories of Arras, Rueil-Malmaison and the CNSMDP, he was successively appointed principal trumpet of the Orchestras of the Republican Guard, Mulhouse, Picardy and the Paris Chamber Orchestra . He has also been invited as “guest principal” by many French and foreign orchestras and has performed under the direction of the greatest conductors (Herbert Blomstedt, Semyon Bychkov, Myung-whun Chung, Gustavo Dudamel, Armin Jordan, Philippe Jordan, Kurt Masur, Georges Prêtre, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Valery Gergiev …) 

Alongside his career as an orchestral musician, Marc Geujon has a regular activity as soloist. Trained by Éric Aubier who then invited him to share the stage during solo concerts, notably in 1997 during a tour with Maurice André and the Paul Kuentz chamber orchestra , he chose to explore all the facets of the profession of musician. With orchestra, in recital with piano, organ or in chamber music, he plays frequently in Europe and Asia. Dedicatee of several works, his repertoire ranges from the Baroque period to the music of the 21st century. Chamber musician, he is a member of the Brass Quintet of the Paris Opera. 

Professor at the Paris Conservatory, after having taught at Rueil-Malmaison and Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, he is committed to perpetuating the great tradition of the French trumpet school initiated by his illustrious predecessors while developing international exchanges. with artists and educators from all over the world. 

Passionate about organology, Marc Geujon works since many years with Schilke, famous instrument maker in Chicago (USA).
