Session: Curriculum and braces, what to do.
Ph.D. Jordi Albert is a trumpet player and researcher with a specialty in motor skills for brass instruments. He holds studies from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, specializing in physiology, motor skills and musical instruments education.
He has taught trumpet, jazz, educational applications of Alexander method in a great number of countries, in universities and conservatories: France, Italy, Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, USA, Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Chile, Ghana, Angola and Argentina.
In 2009, he directed the curriculum transformation process of National Curriculum Music Basis in Guatemala. Between 2010 and 2011, he performed the same work at the Centro Cultural Ollin Yolitzli, one of the largest conservatories of Mexico City.
His researching is deepening in different strategies for motor rehabilitation in musicians with learning difficulties at higher levels. Jordi is graduated in Music Education and Trumpet at the University Jaume I of Castellón, specializing in Instrumental Performance, Research Techniques at Universidad de las Artes and Artistic Education at the University of Valladolid.
