Joe Montelione performs nationwide as trumpet soloist with “Concert with Words”, is a musician for the Walt Disney Company, and second trumpet with the Venice Symphony. He has performed with Orlando Philharmonic, Opera Tampa, Florida Orchestra, Coastal Symphony of Georgia, Moscow State Radio Symphony, Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, Washington Symphony Orchestra and many others. He has also worked with artists such as Billy Joel, Tony Bennett, Charlie Daniels, Amy Grant, Irish Tenors, to name a few. He has been seen in the Broadway pits for the shows “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum” starring Nathan Lane, “Victor/Victoria” starring Julie Andrews, “The King and I” starring Lou Diamond Phillips and “Big: The Musical” a musical adaptation of the 1988 Tom Hanks film and the first national tour of Disney’s Aladdin. As an educator, he has been on the trumpet faculty for Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, New England Music Camp, National Trumpet Competition, and Music  Academy International’s Trentino Music Festival in Primiero, Italy. He is a Larson Brasswerks Artist and is currently on faculty at Florida Tech University.
