Born in Costa Rica, Ernesto Núñez is one of the most requested musicians in Latin America for live tours and recordings, coming to work with many of the great exponents of music with a versatility that ranges from classic to jazz, through music Contemporary and Latin. In the classical field he has participated with Andrea Bocelli, Plácido Domingo, Los Angeles Phillarmonic, Guatemalan Symphony Orchestra, Guatemalan Philharmonic Orchestra, Maracaibo Symphony Orchestra and the Dominican Republic National Symphony Orchestra, among others. In jazz with Dave Weckl, Chris Botti, Justo Almario, Néstor Torres, Arturo Sandoval, Ed Calle, Walfredo de los Reyes Sr., Pocho Sánchez, Víctor Mendoza and Abraham Laboriel. In popular music with Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40, Chichi Peralta and Son Familia, Juanes, Alejandro Sanz, Luis Fonsi, Wilfrido Vargas, Danny Rivera, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Rey Ruiz, Richy Rey and Bobby Cruz, Milliy Quezada, Eddy Herrera, Tito Rojas, Oscar D Leoń, Elvis Crespo, Andy Montañes, Cheo Feliciano, Ismael Miranda, Illegal, Ron Kenoly, Christofer Cross, Don Moen.
He has made many recordings, both with artists, movie music and commercials. It has several solo albums, the most recent “Belucity”. He has also participated in shows such as Latin Grammy, Viña del Mar and Lo Nuestro Awards among others and is an artist for Latin America for Yamaha.
