Ena Kim

Session: Music for Trumpet, Violin, and Piano

Dr. Ena Kim is an active concert pianist, instructor, and chamber musician. Dr. Kim’s numerous successes in piano competitions including the winner of Asia Chopin International Piano Competition, Mu Phi Epsilon Scholarship Competition, Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition and the Korean Pianist Society Competition.  She crucially devotes her energy and passion for teaching. She maintains her schedule of masterclasses, lecturer, adjudications, and festival appearances. As a guest artist, the invitations include the University of Maryland, St. Mary’s College, and as a jurist for the SYMF of CSU Long Beach. She holds her Doctor of Musical Arts degree (DMA) from the University of Maryland College Park, Master of Music degree (MM) in piano performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and Bachelor of Music degree (BM) in Piano Performance with Magna Cum Laude from Ewha Women University. Currently, she is an active pianist as a founder of Ensemble K, and as an educator, she joins as an Associate Faculty at Norco College from Spring 2020. She affiliates with MTAC, SYMF, and MTNA and frequently presents conferences and meetings. She has been serving as an adjudicator/jury member for competitions and auditions.
