There is one simple answer to these questions. In all these bands brass instruments like saxophones, trombones, tubas and trumpets played a crucial role. Such an arrangement accompanied by charismatic vocals and powerful drums is the core of an energetic and inimitable sound.

This is the effect Jakub Domański wanted to achieve when he created the Dizzy Boyz Brass Band. It’s set up in a typical New Orleans brass band manner – two saxophones, two trumpets, two trombones and a tuba along with drums and the charismatic vocal provided by Daniel „Wolny” Moszczyński. Over a dozen of musicians on a daily basis connected with cultural and art institutions make and perform music influenced by funk, jazz, pop, rock and latino.

With their gigs being an explosion of positive energy and emotions, Dizzy Boyz Brass Band is a compelling project on the Polish music scene definitely worth checking out.
