Lecture recital – La trompeta en Uruguay.

Ph.D. Jordi Albert is a trumpet player and researcher with a specialty in motor skills for brass instruments. He holds studies from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, specializing in physiology, motor skills and musical instruments education.

She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He began his musical studies at the age of 13 in the Uruguayan system of children’s and youth orchestras. Years later, he continued his career at the Montevideo Conservatory Vicente Ascone which culminated at the age of 24. In 2011, she travels to France, Nice scholarship to carry out advanced studies at the city’s conservatory with professors Patrick Carceller and Pierre Dutot, from which she graduated in 2012. In her formative stage, she has joined the Youth Orchestra of the Ministry of Education and Culture del Uruguay, Sodre Youth Symphony Orchestra in as well as has played popular music from his country on several occasions. He begins with his professional experiences with the Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra, Montevideo Symphonic Band and Sodre National Orchestra as a temporary musician. She also worked as a trumpet teacher in the primary schools of Montevideo and her experience as director of the brass section of the Uruguayan system of children’s and youth orchestras influenced her. In 2014 she emigrated and settled in San Juan, Argentina to begin her professional career as an orchestral musician by winning the competition for alternate trumpet substitutes in the Symphonic Orchestra of the National University of San Juan, also winning a position as a teacher. from the chair of trumpet at the same University in which he continues to develop today. She is currently developing as a trumpet player and professor at the University of San Juan and is pursuing her professorship in musical interpretation at the same University. Throughout his career he has taken different advanced courses, master classes, international tours with the Sodre Youth Orchestra and festivals, in which he trained with professors Alejandro Vega, Daniel Crespo, Eric Aubier, Valentín Garvie, Francisco Pacho Flores , Flavio Gabriel, Gilberto Siqueira, Pierre Dutot, Patrik Carceller, Gérald Rolland, Rudolf Korp, Bernardo Medel Diaz, Reinhold Friederich, Martin Angerer, Otto Sauter, among others.
